We posted this over at the Unplggd Facebook page yesterday but thought we'd share it with the rest of our readers today. Oliver Sacks is the first amongst hopefully many notable figures from science profiled by NPR's Science Friday series (we're big fans of Ira Flatow's show!), Desktop Diaries. A Bose Wave system, the simple pleasures of a traditional typewriter and an old fashioned pencil sharpener, with the view from his modest apartment keep Mr. Sacks happy and sharing the wonders of science. Watch and get ready to smile.

It's so hard for me to catch all the posts in the blog-a-zines I like, but I'm glad I caught this one! Oliver Sacks is amazing, and his books are wonderful. I'm almost done reading his Musicophilia now. =)
