fietsfabrik bikes are amazing. absolutely awesome, like wheelbarrows with a bike attached. too bad new york has no decent bike lanes or bike culture-- I'd be scared to cart kids around here they way they do in holland.

Also, I think this is the same company that's been based in Florida for years, long before cycling became cool again.
I second that - I bike to work every day and I wear heels and skirts very frequently to work. Biking in heels is just as easy as biking in sneakers, since you are pushing with the balls of your feet. And in terms of skirt - the dress above is a bit too slinky, but any knee length skirt out of moderately heavy fabric will work just fine on a bike.
