It’s Decorator Showhouse season, and I recently had the pleasure of participating in the Elle Décor House, which opened two weeks ago. Let’s take a look.

I was just a small part of this large production, and my contribution was to use Calcem Lime Paint (a product that warrants its own Color Therapy piece someday) on the grey bedroom designed by Marie Turner for M. Elle.

Trend watchers will note dark colors, papered ceilings, pattern on pattern, hand-painted furniture and walls, and exotic plants and flowers. I’ll close with a few of my photos from the opening party, see the showhouse website for a list of contributing designers.
