Check out the new house I'm planning to buy. Jealous? Well you can have one built as well. The Emerson House is actually a modern dollhouse by Brinca Dada.

The Emerson House features six rooms and a modern, open floor plan. Take a close look and you'll see special features like fireplaces, sliding glass doors, solar panels and recessed LED lights!
We wrote about the Emerson House this winter after it debuted at Toy Fair and now it's finally available for pre-order ($299) here.

White Enamel Four-P...
It looks really great. But I´m afraid I wouldn´t let my kids play with it and instead search online all day long for mini designer-furniture to put into the house... :-)
Wow, it is awesome...but, $300 for a dollhouse?
wow! Pricey for a "toy" but I think the kaleidoscope house cost a similar amount when it came out (2001), and now they go for $600-$700 on ebay.

The other amazing modern dollhouse that comes to mind is the villa sibi, and it's 900 clams!

Is anyone else thinking Zoolander? -What is this? A center for ants? How can we be expected to teach children to learn how to read... if they can't even fit inside the building?
it is beautiful but obviously not a "toy"
BakeandBloom - haha!
This would be a toy for the parents, really.
hehe... I want it just for me. like selmajezk I'd spend my spare time sourcing mini furniture, and wallpaper offcuts and making little curtains... and hiding it from my kids!
*Sigh*...
Tried to buy a Kaleidoscope House for daughter; found the last furnished one available in 2005 or 2006 -- it auctioned for something like $1600...
Yes, I too think that if I got this for my daughter, I would be sourcing that miniature MCM furniture from Japan...
