Do you remember this adorable DIY bench made from 2 IKEA Fira mini chests? It's something that we've never forgotten and we've always wanted to see what the rest of the room looks like. We imagined it to be charming and stylish. We were absolutely correct.

Catherine of Hyggelig blog recently revealed some photos of the rest of the room and we can only describe it as hyggelig - cozy and tranquil. The room speaks for itself but we'll point out some of our favorite features - the large windows, window treatments, light fixture, branch, cozy chair, striped rug, and of course, the bench. If you love this room as much as we do, then you'll want to see more pictures over at Hyggelig.

White Enamel Flatwa...
So glad you posted this. The room is great and I missed that bench the first time around. Not only are the colors lovely but it is such a great space for all those little kid knickknacks.
Love it!
LOVE that bed. It is fabulous! My guess is that it is not available in the US.
love the bench :) though sadly i think ikea phased out those mini chests.
We loved the bed so much number two will be receiving it too. But we live in Germany. It is the Leander bed. If you do an internet search, it seems it can now be purchased in the US.
that is adorable and I am still so sad Ikea stopped making those awesome Fira chests!
I love this room and am happy to see it again, but isn't this Catherine's Sunny Spot?

I missed the bench the first time around too, so I'm not complaining! :)
I've loved all the rooms in her house for years - her play kitchen is so lovely. Just love it all, such great taste here! So consistent!
I'm currently obsessing over the Fira chests too. Perhaps they will bring them back by popular demand!
