Jacquelyn's persimmon walls
We're just about halfway through the second-ever Eight Step Cure now.
Folks report feeling a melting-away of tension headaches, a newfound confidence in themselves, a burst of energy to cook dinner at home! The Cure has entered week four and we are starting to see some real results.
The Cure follows the eight chapters of our book, week by week. The goal? Helping one another to make our own homes beautiful, healthy and organized in time for Thanksgiving.

Jacqueline -- what a wonderful color! What's is it?
Thanks -- A few people have asked and I have promised to get the name. I painted a few years ago and forget, but I have the can at home and will get the info off of it. It is Benjamin Moore if memory serves (and because that is usually waht I buy). There was a similar color used in an article in this month's elle decor as well -- also B.M.
Lisa -- if not too much trouble can you fix the spelling of my name? Thanks!!
Fixed! Sorry Jacquelyn, sometimes I type too fast for my own good. : )
Thanks Lisa! Very nice of you to oblige.
Jacquelyn -- if you could find the name, that would be so wonderful. I'll look through the BM fan deck but it's hard to match screen-to-chip. My boyfriend called me as soon as he saw it, and he said "let's paint our kitchen this color!." (We want to do an bold accent wall.)
On a slightly different subject, where do you buy your BM paint in SF? I tried Robert's Hardware in the Haight once, but they were horrible. I've been going to Fredrickson Hardware on Fillmore in Cow Hollow, and they're absolutely great, but it's kind of a trek for me...
(Also -- sorry for the misspelling.)
David -- Sorry it took me forever to get this info to you!! It is BM...2170-30...Autumn cover...I got the equivilent of semi-gloss, but would recommend getting the washable matte that BM makes (I didn't know about it at the time, or maybe it is newer than this paint??) because the color can look a little harsh with lights on as compared to sunlight. I can't recommend a place to get paint in SF because I live in Brooklyn, NY -- my photo is making a guest appearence here. :-) Best of luck with the kitchen.
BM on Geary in the Richmond at the big paint store whose name I can't remember--across from B of A?
