How's your week 5 going? This is the midweek reminder that we're focusing on getting a handle on all that paperwork. I'm working on getting my taxes filed (for last year!) to get that weight off my mind. I'm also getting more of my bills to be paperless and have decided on a day every month when I sit down to pay my bills.
This week is also about:
• Spending more time in bed, sleeping, reading, enjoying
• Considering a day (or a week) long Media Fast
• Adding something soft (or hard) to each room to find balance
• Checking out some options for taming the cords accumulating on the floor

This Week's Assignment:
In the Deep Treatment, among other things you are diving into the home office and tackling all the paper, computer and electrical tangles that you may have. You are also considering a Media Fast, which is a rather radical part of our household cleaning binge. The most fun part of the week is setting an earlier bedtime to indulge in one of modern life's greatest luxuries: rest. Yes this week your assignment is to spend more time in your comfy bed.
In the One Room Workout you will be getting into real color, painting color that is. We had a great time writing this part of the book and remembering all that we had learned over the years about painting. In particular, we were happy to be able to lay out some healthier paint alternatives. We'd be interested to hear any tips on this subject. Where do you buy healthier paint in your neighborhood?
