It looks like television aren't the only thing becoming thinner and thinner. Here's a unique redesign of the common lightbulb into a form factor 1/3 smaller than the typical bulb, designed by Korean designer Joonhuyn Kim. This bulb is so beautiful, we'd purposely want to show it off without any lampshade or light cover. A few more images below the jump...

This would be a perfect product for IKEA...I already sent the picture to corporate in Sweden....who knows maybe next year you can get one of these at IKEA for $0.99 :)
I would hope so...I love the idea and look of these bulbs. And they should ship/store more efficiently, which would result in less packaging. All perfect for an IKEA version!
