The French Spa Look

The French Spa Look

This room looks beautiful. Via Cool Hunting, we saw these photos of a spa called L'Appartement 217 - the first organic spa in Paris which opened last month. While we'd love a day there, this is more about the look than the treatments for us - wow - there is so much to like about this space.

A half-height colorful floating wall maximizes the ceiling height and those amazing French ultra-tall doors.
The simplicity and clean lines of the storage, lighting and plumbing fixtures against the more detailed decorative beauty of the parquet pattern and vintage architectural details of the doors really works.
We love the coolness of the clear bright colors and whites against the warmer gray painted walls and honey colored wooden floor.

The design of the treatment rooms were conceived with a Feng Shui master. The recommended colors and their distribution follow the philosophy - and the result manages to be earthy, utilitarian, clean, modern and very posh.
