In the last few years, St. Louis has seen a new "antique alley" develop in the Morganford area on the south side of the city. Future Antiques owner Claude Denis moved his store from its previous location on South Grand into a 6,000-square-foot "Retro Plex" that anchors the small but stylish Morganford shopping district.
The store is fully stocked with 50s and 60s kitsch, from candy-colored fondue sets to Danish modern dining room furniture. Prices are on par with an average antique store, meaning you'll pay more than craigslist and less than DWR.
Their inventory is huge, particularly if you're looking for dishware or kitchen items. There are two rooms of shelves stacked with Pyrex bowls, Tupperware, and mid-century china sets. In addition to furniture and home accessories, the store sells vintage clothing, LPs, books, board games, and artwork.
When you click through to their website, an annoying but appropriately kitschy ad reminds you that "buying vintage is being green." We appreciate the Green Customers section of the site, where photos of reupholstered vintage finds demonstrate how old furniture can be updated for the current century. There's no online shop yet; you have to visit the store in-person to buy.

OMG- please move your entire to Seattle asap. There is so much. The NW does not have anything that big, packed with that many teasures. They looked fairly priced too!
