fascinating and cool - but does anyone find the second object as disturbing/eerie as I do?
it's like a diabolical cashew nut or something fetal or something...eerie.
it's the one object of his I wouldn't want in my own home.
My first thought about the second object was lewd, and not in a good way.
Now the round things that aren't solid... those grab me.
I was thinking human embryo for number two. Not lewd, but creepy. Very creepy.
But all are very cool.
Well as the maker of the objects I must set the record straight. 6 years ago when my first daughter wa in-utero, I began making "nascent" forms that were directly inspired by the first ultra sounds I saw. I had an exhibition at Aron Packer gallery that truly fleshed out the vision of life beginning and the wonderous transformation that occurs.
