Los Angeles painter (and Felt Club participant and Etsy seller) Leora Lutz knows what's up. She's captured and painted a series of silhouettes showcasing the identifying outlines of the Los Angeles landscape in a spectrum of colours that may or may not sometimes appear in our city's skies. These 5" x 5" painting "began as an experiment in 2003", fueled by the memories of summer nights and the 1980's art scene, resulting in some darn eye pleasing artwork that will provide a glorious view whether the the forecast is for clear skies or not.
And for a very reasonable $75, we recommend you buy a trio or more of her work. We also recommend stopping by Lutz's own Chinatown gallery, Gallery Revisted, filled with similar spirited local artwork.
