Introducing Reese Inman; an artist who sets an algorithm off on a long run -- and then follows with her paint brush. < Enter Slide Show >
Noise V. 2006 acrylic on panel 40x60"
Inman's work “combines the hands-off exactitude of computer programming with the hands-on discipline of painting, merging an overall sense of technological precision with the inflections and irregularities of the human hand. Her paintings map the output of computer algorithms. Each time an algorithm is run, it generates a unique data set and thus a unique image. Inquiries about the works featured here?
