Introducing Sienna Horton. Dividing her time between her studio in brooklyn and her native alaska, horton is crafting breathtaking collages. They caught my eye last weekend when I was poking around in DUMBO.

Sienna doesn't have an artist’s statement per se. Just poetry, like so: _____________________________________________________________________ “The best thing about Anchorage is that it’s 15 minutes from Alaska.” my 1985: anchorage, alaska dominated by carports and garages shushed and beaten wives hardy stock childhood: alaskan memory spotty salmon eggs a connect-the-dots book colored by moose blood blanketed in snow season: summer-time it takes to be life cessna floatplanes motorhomes and fishing boats rust emerging - sienna horton _____________________________________________________________________ See ms.
