Back in the late 60's The Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena (originally called the Pasadena Art Museum) gained a lot of acclaim for showcasing emerging artists. It was one of the leading museums in the nation to advocate and validate photography as a major form of art. Now, the Norton Simon presents "The Collectible Moment", which is the first-ever survey of the Museum's photography collection. There are about 160 works by 100 historical and modern photographers, with an emphasis on contemporary artists. The exhibition runs now through February 26th, 2007.
