Isabelle Bryer is a painter in Los Angeles whose work would be lovely in a modern nursery or child's rooom.

From her artist's statement: "Influenced by the quiet purity of Italian Madonnas, by Latin-American "retratos", by Douanier-Rousseau's naive paintings or Alice In Wonderland illustrations, I create descriptive and poetic images. I like a picture to tell a story. The themes I am preoccupied with are, childhood, portraits, the wonderful and eerie universe of fairy tales where innocence triumphs over evil."
