Name: Silas (4 1/2)
Location: Saginaw, Michigan
I like to say I am a geek by marriage. When I graduated from college, I still hadn't seen any of the Star Wars movies all the way through. I wouldn't have been able to tell General Grievous from Senator Palpatine if my life depended on it.
But while I was in college I began dating my future husband, a BIG Star Wars fan, and via relationship osmosis, I absorbed some of his Star Wars knowledge. Years later, after our son was born, it became evident that I would have to become an even bigger geek to keep up with his interests.
He needed a room to match his geekitude. And this geeky momma provided it. Using his original Space-Themed bedroom décor as a base, I added in elements from Toy Story, Doctor Who, and Star Wars to give him the geekiest room I could DIY.
Almost everything in the room is gifted, thrifted or DIY'd: including the DIY Death Star Mirror, the TARDIS closet, and the robot nightstand.

Shaw's Original Fir...
I'm a 27 year old female and I'm about to kick this kid outta his room and move in..
This room is awesome, my son would LOVE it!!!
Where is the bedding from? Very cool.
My boyfriend will love this...I am debating whether to show this to him. He will want a TARDIS door for sure. I'm not sure how well that goes with MCM.
we have a TARDIS tv cabinet but I am not gonna lie, my bedroom is completely nongeek and it's depressing. I think it needs more Star Wars, Harry Potter and Doctor Who :)
Love it! This room rocks!
I totally want a TARDIS door. Well done and so happy to see a totally geeked out room for your son!
I'm with KRGR1428! I love it!
