The Great Indoor Store: A lighting Delight

The Great Indoor Store: A lighting Delight

Nov 2, 2005

When thinking about good, affordable lighting, we always turn to the The Great Indoors Store.

While the store is in no way a go-to store for other things like furniture (crap) or house wares (pricey) or custom blinds (bad sales help) we think that their lighting section is vast, well priced, and while they don't always have what we want in stock, (one more strike against them) there is usually another choice available on the floor.

The real selling points are in the price. Sturdy, "peppermill" style wood floor lamps seen elsewhere for over $400.00 can be found here for under $200.00. We liked this Axia floor lamp ($119) and while this Kalco Bird and Berry wall sconce ($129) isn't our style, it made us laugh and we had a quick fantasy about painting it out in a more realistic cool would that be?
