This month, we are celebrating travel and escapes. While the beach is perfectly fine and Europe is always amazing, there is no greater escape than a trip to outer space. Since most of us can't afford a flight out there with Sir Richard Branson, here's a roundup of some art work to remind us of space and those who are fortunate enough to travel there.
From virtual travel posters to photos of astronauts stuck here on Earth to paintings capturing visitors from distant galaxies, here are some prints for the space enthusiast.
FROM LEFT TO RIGHT:
• Print by Hunter Freeman from his Astronauts series, found via Kitsune Noir.
• Ufology #3 Print by Michelle Marie Murphy, available from Little Paper Planes.
• Earth Screen Print by Mark Weaver, currently sold out through Big Cartel (but I hope if we keep talking about it he will print more!).
• MarsUnited Rainbow Rocket by Andy Rohr, available from Society6.
• The Parking Ticket by Scott Listfield, available from Fine Art America.
