The Green Cure: Week 8 - Celebrate!

Quote of the Day: "Life has gotten in the way of the Cure this week, and we might not be finished quite on time. But I'm pretty happy with what we've done so far." - stringy

We're wrapping up. There's not a lot on the agenda for this week so that you can focus on getting things done... or done enough! If you've tackled the whole house, now's the time to get one room in perfect order. And remember that guests always end up in the kitchen! Clean up and get ready for a little party.

If you need a reason to do that one last final project that you've been putting off, let this be it. When we have guests over we always end up turning the house upside down and doing things that we'd not done in awhile or meant to do and hadn't gotten around to yet. All our small improvements happen this way...

But now that you've formed a few new habits, the trick might be to wrap things up, rather than to start more new projects.

Creating home is a continuous process, but it's one that's best done with friends. That's why having friends over is part of the cure. A casual party now is a good idea, even if, no, especially if, you're exhausted from the previous eight weeks. Relax a bit and prepare for compliments on your newly refreshed home. And remember that while home is important to everyone, most people are too busy and distracted to invest in making their own home a better reflection of themselves. You've taken a big step in the right direction.

Info:The Cure posts will go up twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays (or sometimes Friday or Saturday), allowing for plenty of comment space. We will be pulling comments and pics to the front page post each week and everyone is urged to take pics, tag them with "atgreencure" and post them in our Flickr Pool:
