The bedroom above is a perfect example of how you can see the personality of the resident shine through when an interior is well-executed. The preppy, poppy candy-colored look of the C. Wonder brand is one of the notes that rings true in the design of Chris Burch's home in Southampton, as featured in AD this month.
As we can see from this photo of the sitting room, the quirk-factor in terms of color is toned down a bit in the public rooms of the house, but even though things get a bit more traditional here, the scale (that lampshade!) and fashion-centric design details (the striped table skirt and fantastic fringe on the armchair) still feel fresh and fun.
