The hanging chair was designed by Nanna Ditzel for R. Wengler, Denmark. 1957, but it's obviously a design with lasting power. And lately we've been a little obsessed with it. In a recent interview with Meade Design Group, Jonathan Adler named the hanging chair as the one thing that every house should have. We thought that, as renters, this was a design object that we'd have to just admire from afar. But then we saw the last photo in this series and realized that, all we needed was a stand.
