Cassandra of Coco + Kelly fell in love with these Hermès dishes in the Balcon Du Guadalquivir pattern. She didn't love their $125 per plate price tag. So being the stylish and thrifty designer that she is, Cassandra found a pattern that echoes the look of the Hermès. In fact, we like this less expensive version is even better than the original.

From Z Gallerie, Mykonos Dinnerware set of 4, $39.80. We really like this more nautical version and thriftiness is always something that we can get behind.

Echoes, yes, but there is no substitute for Hermes!
She has my name, but apparently not the same tastes.
I don't think the Mykonos version is that bad, of course the Hermès version is gorgeous but I think that it's pretty nice. Although, I really don't like the cups, the rest of it's pretty nice.
Apples and Oranges.
That's like comparing a Bentley to a Malibu because they're both 4-door automobiles.
Although it is still not a substitute for Hermes, this set from Target is even more similar -

Hermes can NEVER be replaced
but I do like those replacements I have to admit
here! here! on the Bentley 4 door comment!!
Personally, I wouldn't take the Hermes as a gift. Fancy name, unappealing dishes.
Not to mention that the Hermes design is clearly referencing Spanish cultural influences while the Mykonos one is Greek.
And one's mass produced in China.
Well I want a set of 6 dessert plates and 6 service plates.
