We all love the concept of furniture that grows and evolves with your child but the Highchair had us doing a double -- nay -- triple-take.
Designed by Maartje Steenkamp and manufactured by Droog, the unconventional Highchair comes with a handsaw and sandpaper so that as your child grows, the chair gets smaller.
Infants can be at parents' eye level (Perhaps to practice that wild "baby slap" infants are so good at giving?) and then the chair can be made smaller and closer to ground level as time goes on and your baby turns into a toddler, into a child. Interesting in theory but if you have less-than-great woodworking skills, we don't see this going too well.
We do, however, like the shape and lines of the Highchair as well as the natural wood. Oh, those wacky guys at Droog.
