The Hotspot Mini Tech Outdoor Table Heater

There's no denying Southern Californians like myself are prone to get the "chills" when the thermostat dips anywhere south of...oh say...70 degrees on any given day. Our year around Mediterranean climate affords us al fresco dining options regularly, and even when it's an arctic 65 degrees, most dining establishments offer the now ubiquitous outdoor table heaters. Some friends even have the full size models in their backyards, but now you can get a miniaturized version for more affordable and cozy comforts in your own backyard, balcony or patio when the temps dip...

The Hotspot Mini Tech Outdoor Table Heater operates with a 13Kg gas tank, providing about 100 hours of warmth reflected off of a small sized 510mm deflector. The setup can warm up 3-4 meter heat circle, making it a perfect backyard solution that doesn't take up so much room (nor look as much as an eyesore) as a typical full size heat lamp. Unfortunately this model, which we think looks the best amongst the smaller units, is only available in the UK; here's a domestically available tabletop alternative or another shaped in Tiki-style form.
