Interior designer Chris Nguyen is the guy behind last year's Small Cool Contest winner and the genius Analog Dialog! As it turns out, he's a fantastic designer in all forms. Although his interior design portfolio is small, each of the spaces he has designed is breathtaking.

You may remember the above home as the winner of the 2010 Small Cool Contest. Chris smartly positioned each piece of furniture and each aspect of the home to fit in such a compact space.
He has also designed this model apartment in Houston to a tee. It's impressive that he's making the leap into professional interiors projects - he is a graphic designer by trade and simply started doing some interior design on the side. Chris fits all of his design methods into a name titled Analog Dialog.
Cheers to an amazing multi-disciplinary designer!

I like those shelves and workspace. Very industrial. Good stuff!
I am all into industrial so I love that first place!!
Does anyone know where to get those bookshelves?
Love it!
The shelves are a DIY. They've been featured a bunch of times but here's the first that I saw:

It's a fun and easy project. Enjoy.
Great spaces, though I'm not sure I understand the fascination with typewriters. The yellow lamp is fabulous!
The shelves are really fantastic. They're a totally manageable DIY. I did it for my place :)

And there's a great tutorial from The Brick House blog:

Stunning. Every piece is simple, yet evocative. He has created a tranquil and beautiful space.
The super industrial stuff isn't totally to my taste but this is done really well. Awesome stuff!
