Those back to school ads on TV keep reminding us that summer is well and truly winding down…not to mention the fact that it is getting dark earlier. While the warm days are still with us it feels good to take that laptop outdoors – even if it’s only for a short break. I came across this outdoor workspace roundup on Apartment Therapy back in June. What’s your ideal outdoor work space?

Love the platform and the white cottage.
Wow I can't believe some of these are real! I'd be interested to see them in person. That last once is bizarre!
wow that is bizzare! I'd feel like I couldn't breathe with my head in that thing.
Working outside sounds nice, but in reality I often find it not very practical- wind threatens to blow your paper away, the sun makes seeing things on a screen almost impossible.
And don't forget the mosquitos! Oh right....this only happens in Florida where "outside" is only a good idea in theory or within 20 feet of the ocean.
Actually in NYC we get our share of mosquito bites. It's really annoying, you wait 8 months to be able to hang out outside just to be sent back in by the mosquitoes.
I must admit I never last long outside...can't stand the glare on my screen!
