During the fabrication of wood furniture, a wasteful byproduct is often produced — hundreds upon hundreds of pieces of cutoffs. The designers at the Saftiuk Conservatory decided to takes these lemons and make lemonade.

Produced almost entirely from discarded clear walnut cutoffs, the Kief Table shows how sustainability can also be stunning. The cutoffs are combined in a way that provides both structural integrity and visual interest to make a modern and sleek coffee table.
