Happy Mardi Gras! I came across this super saturated bedroom and knew I had to share. Olga Tcherednikova's bright and trippy design is opposite the calming, relaxed vibe most strive to achieve in the bedroom — but it comes with a double dose of personality.

Even as someone who isn't running out to paint her walls in psychedelic plaid, I love the full commitment to the color palette. Purple, green and yellow work well together in various shades and tones. If neon isn't your style, we blogged about some other gorgeous rooms featuring Mardi Gras colors last year.

Commercial Flour Sa...
Absolutely not.
LOVE it! but then i had my kitchen done a la mardi gras--purple walls w/yellow cabinets & green cabinet doors. sigh. katrina washed that all away & i've got something much more conventional now.
No
Maybe for a Teletubby...
Double no.
I wouldn't be able to sleep in there!
...or maybe a Minnesota Vikings game.
OMG and not in a good way.
I think we've uncovered Barney, Kermit and Big Bird's love den.....OMG!
That is so not my style but I love it.
I can't imagine how much blue tape went into to creating this. A lot of work. Too color specific for my tastes.
I like color in the bedroom, but no. A thousand times no.
oh, no they didn't.
what psychotic day-care clown lives there?
Noooooooooooo! (runs away from screen, screaming)
Whoa! That was my first reaction. I can't imagine how much time it took to get all those lines straight. It certainly has a mind altering affect. I like it - not for me but it's crazy, out of the ordinary - at you know what? Someone's gotta do it!
This is actually burning my eyes. I had to look away.
My thoughts exactly, BruceS63! This could seriously give me a migraine if I walked in...
I also literally cannot look at this. I need more vitamin A. (My eyes are light sensitive, and now I know they are Mardi Gras sensitive, too.)
I admire the precision but...gad.
This has GOT to be a showhouse room - Nobody in their right mind would actually live in a room like this....
for me personally this is a sore for sight eyes! But go you if you can live with it....I would have a migraine
eww.
dear loislane your kitchen did sound beautiful , i m sure one day you ll design sth similar :)
i love these colors , they say happy !! even on a grey day !
Yowza! That is insane!
I don't think I'd last even two hours in this place without becoming horribly ill in some way or another. Given how much work it was to create, I hope someone just loves it.
I know I couldn't live in it, but I think it looks cool!
No. Just no.
Rouler. Not roulez. But nice try.
I'm seeing spots already! I can't imagine the long term effects!
The built in murphy chair is cool.
I think I'm having a seizure.
I adore this, but the hubby would never let me get either one of those colors in the door, let alone put them together that way.
It's only paint; a bucket of Kilz and you could start over if/when you got bored.
gross.
I wish I had the kind of money that made a frivolous monstrosity like this possible.
whoa, that is making my stomach hurt just looking at it!
OK, so I am weird, but I love it...
Different... yes
Startling... yes
Awesome... yes
I want to do that now.... but my b/r is too small to do it.. you need room to do a graphic like that!
The room must have done something pretty awful to be punished like that. :-(
I love it! Especially the way the stripes cross each other behind the bed. It must be teh brightest and happiest bedroom to wake up in. No more crappy mondays!
whimper...
I actually squinted when I first saw this image. I kinda hurt my eyes.
WOW!! It is all really very impressive. The colors are completely hideous, obviously. But the idea and the furniture, I do love that. Hard to get past the gross color combo first.
Can you imagine coming home after too much to drink? OMG!
