The 365 Knitting Clock was designed by Siren Elise Wilhelmson to convey a sense of time by showing a process. It's so beautiful, so tangible, and yet so abstract. Totally up our alley! Each half hour it stitches one stitch. A day is marked by a complete circle of stitches, and at the end of one year, 2 meter scarf has been completed. The future? It's still unknitted wool. Don't you love that?
Like all the best things in life, the knitting clock isn't for sale. But you can see more pictures of it here and read the designers description of it here.

Why is it not for sale??? :( its sooo cool! i too love it!
I want one!
As a knitter, I think this is amazing. Every knitting project that I finish is not just yarn and a pattern it is also time that I have invested in it.
The setup is neat, and it sounds interesting to watch for a day or two . . . but how much do you really want a 6'6" gray tube dangling down your wall?
love it! i hope you don't mind that i used one of the photos on my blog. i have linked and given full credit... the clock was my happiness post today. very clever and creative.
I want one of these!
