That's actually kind of amazing.
Not sure if this will work as well on square and rectangular cakes. Cute idea, though!
i'd like to know how this works on pie.
Nice idea. I'm not sure about the funny shape of cake you get.
This wouldn't work for pie. You would need the tool to be offset so you can get around the pie plate. You would probably need a bottom too, to keep the filling from falling out.
I'm pretty sure we had something similar when I was a kid. Except it was made by Tupperware, and there was a square one and a wedge one. This one is much more classy and grown up, though.
Tupperware has been selling these for decades.
