There is something fascinating about watching the time go by while watching a flip clock. We guess that's the reason why flip clocks have become so popular over the last few years. Here are a few different ones that we've spotted to give you that retro feel on your desk or your computer.
1. Retro Flip Down Clock
Chinavision's latest flip clock is available for $36! Having a real clock on your desk instead of running an app makes a lot of sense, since monitors need to be shutdown. [via Ufunk]
2. Desktop Flip Clock
This flip clock is different but costs $80. It would still look good on our desk.
3. Twemco Flip Clocks
Instead of spending a lot of money on designer flip clocks, the best option is probably to get a vintage one from Twemco, who has over 30 years experience making these clocks.
4. iPhone Flip Clock
While we don't recommend keeping your monitor, iPhone, or iPad on for hours at a time, these classic flip clock apps still look pretty good, no matter which version you are running.
5. The $1,200 Flip Clock
Well, this clock is still available, but it's still extremely overpriced for what it is. Still, it's interesting to look at, since it has a bunch of different fonts available for display.

The Established & Sons Font Clock is an absolute beauty. Its been on my fantasy wish list for a little while now. There is something satisfying about watching the digits flip by. The technology is obviously very elementary yet the motion it creates is pleasing when you happen to catch it move.
if you can go for the established & sons clock- overpriced yes but nothing much i've seen comes close. very industrial and very unique. they come in three sizes, the one shown above being the middle size. i got the small (approx $350-$400) which shows just the time but you can get the $1800 large one which shows full day text. established and sons also make quite a unique twin dial circular clock called the two-timer that is more sensibily priced.
if you are feeling a bit more flush may i recommend the awesome qlocktwo digital clock or a jaeger le coultre atmos clock. not flip clocks, but two of the best clocks available
