The new MANTIS lamp from German designers Moritz Böttcher and Sören Henssler is a study in basic forms and the "delicate balance of lightness, purist design and playful emotion." Each lamp has a 300mm long energy-saving LED light strip that rotates on a single aluminum tube which has been inserted through the wooden base. It's still a prototype right now, but we love the look!

There are currently two design versions: a black stained ash and maple white pigmented, each with lacquered pipe and textile cords.
