The Music Orb

2007_05_29 music orb.jpg We saw the Music Orb over at Home Tech and had to slink it. We first played with one of these a few months ago in a great little store in Silver Lake (LA) called Plastica. The Orb is a completely self contained, ridiculously simple and odd music box that emotes from within the wood. Turn the handle and Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro plays. That's it.

Plastica's not in/near Silver Lake. It's across town on W. Third.

so fun. my two year old thinks this is the most intriguing thing ever. we got ours from the MoMA online store, always nice to support a nonprofit with your purchase.
