The Neighbor's Window Box

Pin it button big

Maybe we're just nosy neighbors, but we're waiting for them to come back out this year. That photo up top is of the ferns that live in our neighbors' window boxes each summer...

They are gigantic and are taken in over the winter only to make their appearance again each summer. The perennials inspired us to try planting our own last summer, but we found that our south-facing windows just weren't the nurturing environment that our north-facing neighbors could provide their ferns. So, we'll just watch and wait until their moppy-headed creatures come back outside this summer, enjoying them from across the street.
