This week's international real estate listing from The New York Times is a two bedroom and two bath home — with an additional two bedroom bungalow on the property — in Uruguay. The cottage sits right on the banks of the Rio de la Plata &mdsh; the river that separates Uruguay from Argentina...
We're fond of the dark beams in the ceiling and the realtionship all the interior rooms have with the outdoors.
The home is listed at $250,000. For the full listing and more pictures, see For Sale in ... Uruguay and the slideshow.

I'd rather spend my $250K on this beautiful place than on yesterday's dumpy $1MM fixer-upper in Manhattan...
bepsf - this place in uruguay is a good distance (62miles) from a major city...might put the manhattan place in perspective.
