It's a little hard to picture Julie Carlson and Josh Grove's Mill Valley home as what it once was: A '70s ranch fixer-upper. After an extensive remodel, it's light and airy, clean and uncluttered. There's a nice mix of mid-century and contemporary furniture -- and the built-in storage is truly covetable.

Its nice to see good taste and money..more for Metropolitan Home than APT. I am always amused that this site has such a mix bag of showings- small apartments with the creative use of space and IKEA haked pieces then there is this yes nice but so are most larger dwellings with income.
i need to live in this house.
Really makes me want to buy a ranch and blow out the ceiling. I'm saving this one for the wishbook.
I really like the laundry center cabinetry. Great design.
