This self-proclaimed guerrilla gardener plants little surprises in potholes all over East London. It's an intervention that calls attention to roads in disrepair, brings a burst of color to a notoriously gray landscape, and delivers sweetness to everyone who passes by.
We love the near-instant gratification of these gardens and find them totally inspiring. Whether you're not sure what to do in a corner of the yard, missing a paver or two on the patio, or looking for a project with the family on a Spring afternoon, consider borrowing a page from The Pothole Gardener. Sprout Side Table
Dang! The dollhouse furniture looks so cute in these settings -- too bad it would almost certainly be abducted. But I might have to try this somewhere at home! (Kind of like the "fairy door" phenomenon, also amusing...)
So cute! Where in the world can I get that tiny furniture?
I think that's really sweet that someone would take the time to do something like this. Cheers to them!
Excellent idea + cute + civic concept
That must be a sweet surprise for people hurrying along busy sidewalks!
