The MYZ House: Simple Living in a Concrete "Nest"

The MYZ House: Simple Living in a Concrete "Nest"

The MYZ House in Nagano, Japan, was designed by architecture and design firm no.555 and epitomizes the concept of living simply. It blends into the natural environment with its large windows and elegant use of materials such as wood and concrete. The scale and proportion, coupled with the layout of the interior gives a spacious feeling to a small home.

The architects wanted to assimilate the home into the "quiet surroundings" and create a nest like feeling with the grass printed concrete walls.
