Summer weather is still months away for most of us but it doesn't mean you can't plan. Water play is essential for kids. You can go the DIY route (check out these 2 versions), or if you're in the market to buy check out this beauty from Cheme Designs.
The Sanak-ji is made from Baltic birch plywood with a lacquer finish. That's right; it's not plastic. The Sanak-ji goes for $279, steep for a water table but it sure is good looking. And if you like the look of the Sanak-ji, make sure to check out the rest of Cheme Designs' offerings.

why would anyone pay that much for something with such a limited, specific use? i don't really understand this product.
Hi. I wanted to respond to doubledutch's comment on the water table. A friend of mine sent the link to this site, showing our water table (we just launched last week, so we're pretty psyched to it on a site like this already). I totally agree with you, doubledutch. It is a bit pricey for a specific use item. We just added a matching lid, that allows you to also use the table as a play table w/ storage (think legos, bionicles, animals, art supplies, etc). The price will not change. New pics will be up on our website next week. I will add that for the price, your are getting real wood furniture, GreenGuard-certified finishes, and made in the USA. Feedback is great, thanks!
