We've discussed the 7 deadly sins of decorating, debated whether it's a sin to paint over a vintage piece, and had readers chime in about hiding some of our more sinfully delightful tendencies when guests drop by. But what about (guest) bedroom decor inspired by the 7 deadly sins of  wrath, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy, and gluttony?

Of course it comes to no surprise it's those wonderfully uninhibited Parisians who've brought to life the seven sins into hotel room form. Interior designer Chantal Thomass is the creative mind behind each of the rooms inside the Vice Versa Hotel in Paris, choosing every sinful detail, from the beds, cabinets, bedside tables, chairs, lighting, wallpaper, fabrics, drapes, down to the artwork adorning each themed room's walls. 

All the patterns within were custom designed (I'm particularly partial to the black lace inside the bathroom, shown above), with 37 rooms spread over 6 floors, including a commons breakfast room decorated in the theme of greed and an all-black steam room symbolizing the infernal abyss. 

Although I'm not strongly for or against themed rooms in a home, I quite like the idea of themed rooms while staying on vacation, since part of traveling often includes a sense of fantasy...and nobody would argue this hotel is lacking in the category.
