Sporting a handsome minimalist-white form factor, the Invoxia AudiOffice seems like the realization of all those futuristic visions of video communication devices of the future. But the desktop iOS compatible device is actually just a streamlined handset and cradle combination for your iPhone or iPad to sit in while you video chat, Skype, or listen to music using the built-in speaker system. If you're on your iPhone at your desk as much as out and about, this could be the accessory you've been waiting for...
The $299 AudiOffice contains 4 speakers for optimized video conferencing audio, including 2 vents up front for improved low end bass, and two digital microphones up front pick up conversation for compatible use with VOIP applications like Skype, Bria and Viber. The docking system's features are optimized after downloading an invoxia app (even if you're not an iOS user, you can pair any Bluetooth compatible device for use with the AudiOffice), allowing users to connect to their iPhone's contacts and make calls directly from their cradled device. And if a little privacy is needed, there's always the corded handset (it's funny noting in this era of wireless, the corded handset still lives on).
The AudiOffice joins the already available NVX 610 (this telephony model includes 2 ethernet ports absent from the AudiOffice).
