I have house guests coming over in a few days, and I feel as though I have grown up a bit from the college years of shoving my guests on a couch and with a few old blankets. This impending visit earmarks the first time I'll have overnight guests in my new house, so my mum gently recommended that in addition to hanging fresh towels, I ought to stock the bathroom beyond the necessities: quality soaps, extra toothbrushes, etc. This, she assured me, will make my guests feel at home. With this mission in mind, I went to Old Town Pasadena to pick up a few choice soap selections from The Soap Kitchen.

So, now that my bathroom is guest-ready, all I have left to do is restock the wet bar...

I'm glad you guys are posting about this store. I went for the first time a few weeks ago. Each of my family members picked out one bar of soap (4) and a couple of lip balms. It ws $40 but the soaps are lasting an incredibly long time and they are each unique. I love the tea tree with poppy seeds soap, smell's great, antibacterial, and exfoliating. The lip balm smells so good, I think it is the essential oils they use. Also, this is a good store because the owner has her mom and dad helping so you know you are supporting a family business.
