• Cure Clock: 6 days till start
• Assignment: Buy or borrow the book!
It's tiiiiiiime people! Time to crank up the engines again, get down and dirty with your home and do something fabulous that you've been dying to do before Memorial Day rolls around and it's all over. This time, however, we're revamping the whole process. And warning! Look out tomorrow for our new Cure Page....
For those of you who are new, starting next week we're beginning a home makeover project by following the eight chapters of our book, Apartment Therapy: The Eight Step Home Cure, and, because many hands make light work, we're doing it together.
The goal? To invest in our own homes through either elbow grease, money or both and make our own homes beautiful, healthy and organized.
This time we're going to make a few big changes which include:
• One Cure page to tie together all the posts
• Cure emails to stay in touch with you even if you don't make it to the blog
• Local Cure discussion boards so that you can chat and organize locally.
We're unveiling it all tomorrow, so stay tuned!

Commercial Flour Sa...
ooo exciting!
i am in the process of moving this upcoming weekend so this is a MUST for me! new decorating everywhere!
Excellent! I just moved house and was looking forward to the next Cure to start tying it all together.
Yay Cure emails!!!
I think this time around I need to focus on getting rid of things... cause I still have a lot of "things" in my tiny space and it's just not working. But first, of course, I really need to clean. :)
I've never participated before and I'm looking forward to it! I have an entryway that is completely barren and some other projects calling my name. This is just the push I need.
the ex moved out this past weekend!!!! (a good thing) now I've got an extra closet to help me cure!
Excellent! I've been waiting for this. My weekend will be dedicated to a head start.
Whoo hoo! Just upgraded apartments to a lovely (but tiny!) place in Pasadena. I can't wait to get started!
Who makes/where can I find that awesome table?
Oh so excited! Never participated in The Cure, but my boyfriend (oh loving, understanding lad he is) bought me the book for Christmas so now I can play along at home!
Here's a thought - would you be willing to sell e-book versions of "The Eight-Step Home Cure" in the future?
I sure would love to have a digital copy ...
this is wonderful- count me in....again!
Mini Cure for me...perfect timing.
Exciting indeed!
julieleanne: good idea...I'd also love a digital copy.
Mini Cure for me.
I've got a closet and some other storage areas that need work and general decorating that still needs to be done.
woo hoo! i got the book as a Christmas gift and have just been putting it off...i'm so in!
My bedroom is in need of a major cure. Can't wait to get started.
Ok I'm in - moved house 5 months ago and still have unpacked boxes and a plywood kitchen floor - I need some inspiration!
I can't wait! I ordered the book too late last time and it didn't get to me until 3 weeks in. The new changes sound great! :D
I can't wait! I can't wait! I can't wait! I've been collecting ideas in Google Reader for over a year now and this is JUST in time for my tax return to come through. I'm getting a good chunk of money (almost a whole paycheck!) and my goal is to do the apartment with $500 or less.
Woo Hoo!
Thank God finally I am moving by myself the end of the month so this is a MUST for me! new decorating everywhere!
Count me in!!!
I'm going to do it. I've had the book for ages, but it feels overwhelming to do it alone. yipee!
so there with YOU sparkle!!..
Very excited to take part!
Count Me In... boy do i need this, and will really appreciate the support of a group!
I'm another recent mover with boxes still out - looking forward to this!
My Girlfriend is moving in - the timing couldn't be any better!
;3)
I was going so strong on the fall cure and then got totally sidetracked by Nanowrimo, (two things that simply cannot be done at once) so I've been waiting for another chance with the spring cure for a while now!
i'm in. my place is still unfinished, our home office is a complete mess, I desperatly need a kitchen re-do to make it work for me and some good ideas for my bedroom.
moving into a huge place instead of downsizing. Does that make it an anti-cure?
I am in a good place mentally and spiritually right now. I think I can actually follow through this time. A clean and edited home would be awesome.
can't wait! we desperately need to address our bedroom.
I'm always up for the Cure!
I'm so glad the Cure has it's very own page and am looking forward to the emails.
I am SICK of our blank walls, we need to commit to some frames and do it already! I know the Cure can help.
I'm a fall cure 2008 drop out, hopefully this one will go better for me!
Looking forward to rolling up my sleeves and getting rid of the clutter...
I'll be loosely following the Cure. I'll do it at my pace because the procrastinator that I am doesn't like deadlines :)
I would love to get involved with this!
The denver board says 404 file not found
Can't find the Kansas City discussion board. Can you help?
This will be my first Cure. We're planning to move this summer, and it would be smarter to edit now and only bring what we love, then to just throw everything in boxes and sort it later... like, um, I usually do.
Just kidding. I don't sort through it after the move, either.
First cure too, going to the book store to see if i can find the book TODAY!
Clean, unclutter and organize... those are my primary goals.
I'm kind of tired of the apartment looking like the kids have taken over.
