New Flickr Group: AT Home Cure >>Submit your photos directly to AT We've spent our time focusing on the bedroom this week (ooh la la!) and although it's the one place in our home that should feel like a retreat from the rest of the world, it's easy to let it be a catch all with a "closed door policy" when company is over. Earlier this week we clued you into some great ways to make your bedroom feel fantastic without being overwhelmed while you're designing and decluttering. Hopefully by weekend's end, you will have a space that makes you comfortable enough to fall asleep by counting only a few sheep instead of the whole flock. the full Flickr set with all the before and afters! This is a great example of following the steps of the Cure to begin with a vision and finish strong 8 weeks later!
jen64 has taken her office by storm this Cure. She's installed new carpet, painted, organized, changed out hardware and more. The changes she made have a huge impact on the space and truly bring it together. You can check out more of their office renovation on Flickr where there's close ups of all their hard work and details such as the books being covered in old blueprints and a shot of the most organized drawer we've seen so far this Cure!
wellfed1 in Queens set a budget for a backyard makeover at $200. They've made great strides with fencing, a new concrete patio and a garden that's already been planted for the season. Way to stretch a dollar and make it look fabulous!
anna*lyssa in our Flickr Pool has been busy with the wallpaper and is finally finished! Her changes really bring a small space together and make it as inviting as it is cozy. She's still working on a few lighting issues, but is well on her way! Nice job!
When inkstainedwriter got married a few years ago, she was all over shabby chic decor. The last few years have left her wanting to change things up and a tight budget didn't leave much room for change. She made huge improvements with just the change of a shower curtain. The mirror reflects it beautifully and makes the space look twice the size! Nice work!
leighanne1941 in our Flickr Pool has done a great job restoring this dresser that was in some serious need of attention. She used thin coats of hole filler to fill in the inlaid designs on the drawer fronts before painting! The hard work paid off and it's sure to be the highlight of any room it graces. Thank you so very much to those who have taken time to share their progress with everyone this week! Make sure to throw open your windows (assuming you're not plagued with the never ending rain we've had lately) this weekend and let the fresh air and sunlight grace your spaces. Don't forget to sit and enjoy the work you've done in the weeks past as it will be a great motivator to finish off The Spring Cure with gusto! If you've been holding out on sending in your photos, now is the time to take a few quick shots to share with us! We'd love to see what everyone's been up to over the past few weeks, so don't be shy...
