You're probably pretty content if you live in Alaska. At least according to the results of the 2014 Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index, which surveys 175,000 people across 50 states on five different types of happiness. Alaska topped the chart overall and took number one in "sense of purpose," whereas West Virginians came in last overall, plus in purpose and physical well-being.
