This steampunk/victorian/submarine themed office belongs to Three RingsDesign, Inc. Their office space is filled with individually customized desks, a pool table with a wall sized ‘world domination' map, a video game room with giant squid pillows, a bar with built-in kegorator, and a secret door to the Captain’s Lounge. I love it! They make some really fun games--my boyfriend likes their Puzzle Pirates game--and I would love to work there. I wouldn't decorate my home like that but it's perfect for a gaming company!
I want that couch (it would go well with all my octopus/squid/underwater prints & kitsch) but I have to wonder how long it would take to get sick of all that decor. It'd be kind of like living in a cartoon, which would be fun at first (the stuff of childhood fantasy, let's face it) but I could see it seeping into my nightmares, and I'm a fan of cartoons and eclecticism.

I really don't think the steampunk is the problem-- the execution here is way too cartoony. And not in that intricate, anime-style steampunk way that I love so much and hate to see maligned! I love steampunk but I think this is wretched.
