There are many milestones in a child's development and a big one is moving from a crib to a bed. Sometimes by request, but often out of necessity when they start climbing/falling out of their crib. There are legends and old wives tales about children who transition to beds seamlessly with no interruption to their or their parents' sleep, but for many it's a period of upheaval. Prudent Mama Jaime implemented the tape trick and, so far, to great effect.

Like Jaime, I recall reading about this idea long ago and then forgetting about it so I was glad for the reminder as my son nears the end of his crib time. Now if he only had a room with a door!

Not sure what this tape trick is all about? Hop over to Prudent Baby for the scoop.
