You would think that the Atlhletes in London for the 2012 Olympic Games are pretty busy. But in case they find some downtime between training and competing, the Olympic Village, the athletes' dorm-style home-away-from-home, features some cool tech to help them kill time.
The Olympic Village has residential apartments for around 17,000 athletes and officials during the Games. Each apartment building provides a communal area for its athletes to share, boasting a TV, wireless web everywhere, and plenty of outlets to power up a laptop or iPad. But the real fun is found inside The Globe leisure bar. There, athletes will find a bevy of ways to unwind. There's XBox and Wii consoles, iPads at every table, and a soundproof room called "The Beats Lab" where athletes can zone out and blast their favorite song.
