Like teenagers in the back seat at a drive-in, we had a bad case of the wandering hands syndrome while touring the displays of ICFF this year. We don't know which question we asked more during the show: "Can we take a photo" or "Is it okay to touch the sample?" This year's show had so many items that drew us close by the temptation of textural sensation, whether it was Kohlers' matte finish sink and toilet line, a kimono wrapped chaise, metallic upholstery tufted seating or the ultimately hand-soothing head shaped squeeze toys, we more than once ended up returning to revisit items due to their impact on our sense of touch. Smooth, rough, silky, organic, artificial...our hands found themselves judging as much as our eyes (because all of us what want we bring into the homes to feel as good as they look). Above are several of our favourite hands-on experiences from this year's ICFF show...
